GOOGLE BABEL FISH

In the year 2008. I had posted the following blog.




Today, when I was working on the Google translator page.

I found that if you put a simple sentence in English and translates it into once Hindi.

the translation comes with an icon and when you press on it, you can hear it being sad in in the translator language.

now we can not only translate some simple sentences from English to many languages. Using global translate.

but actually say them in the language.

The table below gives availability details some surprises are.

None of the major islamic languages arabic/urdu/Persian are available ( I would have thought U S defense department would be ready with multimillion dollar contracts ;-)

Korean Japanese and Hebrew are notably absent ( probably patent rights for theses language TTS may be a problem for Google )
