Sadanand Dhume article in Atlantic Camcha of American Right wing

The American right wing including Trump seem to have many Chamchas among the Indian diaspora.

One of them  is Sadanand Dhume who wrote an article  in The Atlantic  yet an  other  right  wing  Mouth piece
This guy is a resident  scholar at American Enterprise unit a  right wing think tank.
It is funny to see a right winger  calling  another  a right winger in a derogatory fashion.

The same  guys who hate  every Muslim and  islam  suddenly are concerned  about the  democracy in Kashmir.

A lame excuse what happened to informed consent ?

GAYA:
A patient admitted to a hospital has alleged that a surgeon instead of performing a ''Hydrocele'' surgery performed a surgery on his right leg on Tuesday.
Hydrocele surgery is a procedure to repair a hydrocele, which is a buildup of fluid around a testicle.
This incident has occurred at Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College and Hospital (ANMMCH).
Bhuneshwar Yadav, a resident of Punakala village claimed that he had come for Hydrocele surgery, but without any prior notice, a surgeon operated his leg and also inserted a rod in it.
"Keeping in view the swelling on the patients'' leg, the doctor must have performed the leg surgery on priority," Vijay Krishna Prasad, Superintendent (ANMMCH) backing his hospital's doctor said.
COMMENT

He also said that proper investigation will be conducted into this matter

The dead body journalism

Telangana man forced to carry daughter's dead body as hospital refuses ambulance India Today • 3 days ago

Every now and then  we have such headlines blaming Hospital administration for not providing transportation using an ambulance for transfering dead patients to their  residence.
Why can 't  one of the innumerable NGO's take up this problem and provide subsidised  hearse services.
for some reason suddenly a dead person becomes  a great burden what with superstition  and  exploitation of the situation by Taxi/auto drivers.
Why blame the Hospital Administration for this ?
when we can not have  adequate  ambulance service  for the  living sick and  injured  do you expect  them to provide transportation to the  dead?

Dear Mattis why did you not read this to your Commander in chief ?

"We've fought wars that we should have avoided, and halfheartedly engaged in wars that needed to be won. But we can recover our strategic footing, if we don't squander opportunities to strengthen the international order that is in the best interest of all nations seeking peace and stability on the world stage. America has more tools than its military and CIA to draw upon. In league with our allies, our economic strengths and our use of traditional diplomatic practices can reduce the militarization of our foreign policy. Unilateralism will not work, and we must craft an integrated, multidimensional strategy that incorporates America 's deepest wells of power. Policies can change based on political goals established by our elected leaders. Yet those goals must remain realistic and coherent if they are to enable an achievable strategy. Any war, even a war of limited political ends, must be fully resourced for its mission. Acting strategically requires that political leaders make clear what they will stand for and what they will not stand for. We must mean what we say, to both allies and foes: no more false threats or failing to live up to our word. Yesterday, today, and tomorrow, the decision of going to war is too great a matter to stumble into or to half-step toward once the decision is taken."

21-detained-for-killing-73-year-old-doctor-in-Assam-Jorhat-IMA-state-unit-to-go-on-24-hour-strike
Moral of the story Doctors should not take lunch breaks  and  also should not take  jobs in remote places  out of altruism.

At least 21 people have been detained on Sunday for killing a 73-year-old doctor in Assam's Jorhat district, an Indian Express report quoted the police as saying.
The elderly doctor was attacked by a mob of tea garden workers following the death of their colleague in a hospital in which the doctor worked.
Speaking to The Indian Express, Jorhat SP NV Chandrakant, said, ;Somra Majhi (32), a temporary worker at the Teok tea garden, was taken ill and admitted to the garden hospital. Doctor Deben Dutta was away on lunch break and the nurse administered preliminary treatment. Later on, the doctor came back but the patient unfortunately died.;
The Jorhat SP further said a mob of around 250 to 300 persons gheraoed the hospital, vandalised it and attacked the doctor.
They hit him and even cut him with glass shards. He suffered head and leg injuries. The police arrived and rescued him. We shifted him to Jorhat Medical College and Hospital (JMCH) but he died on the way. We have detained 21 persons so far, Chandrakant said.
Following this on Sunday evening, in a joint press statement, the state unit of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and the Assam Medical Service Association (AMSA) called for 24 hours withdrawal of medical services, excluding emergency services by doctors from 6am of September 3 to 6am next day, as a mark of protest, the Indian Express reported.>
When the tea-garden worker Majhi died, the mob entered the hospital at around 4 pm and started vandalising. A welfare officer who tried to intervene and calm the crowd was also attacked. A senior manager of the garden was shoved away by the angry mob.
Manjhi got injured after he fell in the bathroom. It could have been that he suffered a stroke. The doctor came 30 minutes after the patient was brought in but by then Manjhi was already dead. That infuriated the workers and they assaulted him. We condemn the violence,; Nilesh Gond, the secretary of the Jorhat district branch of the Assam Chah Mazdoor Sangha (ACMS), the largest trade union organisation of tea gardens of Assam, told . Gond said that 21 detained belong to the tea tribe community.
On Tuesday at 7 pm, there will be a candlelight procession by doctors to mourn the death of Dutta. The IMA state unit, in a statement, said that the attack on Dr Dutta had crossed all tolerable limits”. Also, the Assam Medical Service Association (AMSA) has written to Assam DGP Kuladhar Saikia over the incident, urging immediate arrest of all culprits. Scores of doctors staged protests at the JMCH last evening.
The Teok tea estate is owned by the Kolkata-based Amalgamated Plantations Private Limited. The company said in a ‘lock-out’ notice that there was “total insecurity and chaos” in the garden and all its executives feared the safety of their lives. The lock-out will continue until the atmosphere is conducive to running the garden.
The company further said, “The murderous crowd did not allow any medical attention to be given to the grievously injured Senior Medical Officer and they also prevented the ambulance from reaching him for about an hour. The injured was ultimately rescued by the Magistrate and police at around 5.30 pm and immediately administered first aid. They were then shifted to JMCH for treatment

'... Shooting The Messenger': Editors Guild Tears Into UP Govt Over FIR Against Journalist

The Guild said Jaiswal's 'expose' showed how valuable 'free and fearless journalists are to the democratic society.'

OUTLOOK WEB BUREAU02 SEPTEMBER 2019

he Editors Guild of India on Monday took up the cudgels against the Yogi Adityanath-led government in Uttar Pradesh after it filed an FIR against a journalist who shot the video of school children being served roti with salt for mid-day meal in Mirzapur.
Condemning the UP government's action against Pawan Jaiswal, a local journalist with Jansandesh Times, the Guild said it was a "cruel and classic case of shooting the messenger."
Jaiswal was booked on charges of cheating and criminal conspiracy, based on a complaint by the Block Education Officer of the area, which accused him and a representative of the local village head, of conspiring to defame the Uttar Pradesh government.
The Guild said Jaiswal's "expose" showed how valuable "free and fearless journalists are to the democratic society."
It lashed out at the government for filing criminal cases against the journalist instead of "fixing what is wrong on the ground."
The Guild urged the government to withdraw all the cases and ensure the journalist is not put to any harm.
In the video from the Mirzapur school, children were seen sitting on the floor and eating rotis with salt.
However, the three-page First Information Report (FIR) mentions that only rotis were cooked in the school on the day the video was shot. It adds that the village head's representative should have arranged for vegetables, instead of calling a reporter to the school premises.
The FIR also says that Jaiswal shot the video and forwarded it to a news agency. It was widely shared on social media and defamed the state government, it adds.

Why the Bid noise about asking some one for their CV?

JNU asks historian, professor for 6 decades Romila Thapar to produce CV.

when  someone  wants a position they need to provide some details  on how they qualify. This is fundamental.
This  is typical of the  Indian mentality

" Don"t you know  who I Am ?"

"How dare you do not recognize who i am"

Even if  it is politically motivated  the  graceful thing For  Ms Thapar is to send in the  CV not  make a spectacle of it.
