save American India, china, israelpatients about one billion dollars in savings every other day.

 Hey  PREZ "T" Tweet this.

"  India,China and Israel save American patients about one billion dollars in savings every other day."

when one  hears  a  "NONPROFIT" Center at an  academic Institution  like tuft's university. You would think its  reports will be  unbiased.

but will you think the  same when  35% of Tufts CSDD’s operating expenses are  provided by the  pharma industry and  sponsoring companies, outside of Tufts CSDD may suggest topics for investigation"

some real gems from this so called  academic  nonprofit center

“Drug development remains a costly undertaking despite ongoing efforts across the full spectrum of pharmaceutical and biotech companies to rein in growing R&D costs,” said Joseph A. DiMasi, director of economic analysis at Tufts CSDD and principal investigator for the study.
He added, “Because the R&D process is marked by substantial technical risks, with expenditures incurred for many development projects that fail to result in a marketed product, our estimate links the costs of unsuccessful projects to those that are successful in obtaining marketing approval from regulatory authorities.”

How about this  I have  a film production company.
I make  10 movies  at  the rate of  10 million  each
9 of them are  flops  no one  wants to see them.
so I want to charge 100 times  more  for the ticked t to see the  one  movie which  people would like to see.

Will anyone  agree to this ?

you argue that unless  people are willing to pay such cost   all film industry will stop  producing  new  movies !!!^&**

what  should  PREZ "T" Do to save healthcare .
just  change the patent  law .
reduce the  duration  to  the  time   the company makes  4 times  what it spend   in developing the  drug  then  throw it open to generic  companies  . this should include  biologics.
stop giving  patents  to  stupid  new  formulations  of the  same  old medications.
