Isn't there a federal government law against providing wrong information?

New Delhi: Author-activist Arundhati Roy on Wednesday said that the National Population Register (NPR) will serve as a database for the NRC and asked people to oppose the former by furnishing wrong names and addresses.

Isn't there a federal government law against providing wrong information?

Is she going to provide an wrong name and address when a surveyor comes to her home how was she going to do this?

It is quite obvious  to the surveyor when that person visits a residence that the people who are in that particular residence have that address. So how recent one supposed to give the wrong name and address?

So once you get a prize in recognition you get it right to talk and do stupid things?
