Madhya Pradesh: Two dead, four missing after Flyash dyke breach at Reliance plant in Singrauli

Madhya Pradesh: Two dead, four missing after Fly Ash dyke breach at Reliance plant in Singrauli

This is the third breach of dykes in power plants in Singrauli, about 700 kilometres from Bhopal, in the last one year.

How to prevent Fly ash Dyke breaches?

The Power and Coal ministries of India should make it compulsory to mix limestone with ash slurry. and to use road rollers frequently to compact the limestone ash mixture to create layers of strong. pozzolona concrete to create dykes which can not get breached easily.
There is enough Indian expertise in Fly ash Concrete technology in India.
we should stop this kind of exploitation of poor people by capitalist companies now.
