AntFileConverter

A front-end interface to the CLAWS tagger developed at Lancaster University, UCREL.

FireAnt (Filter, Identify, Report, and Export Analysis Toolkit) is a freeware social media and data analysis toolkit with built-in visualization tools including time-series, geo-position (map), and network (graph) plotting.
Picture Vocabulary Size Test (PVST)
A receptive vocabulary size test designed primarily for young pre-literate native speakers up to eight years old and young non-native speakers of English. The test was created in collaboration with Paul Nation of Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. Remember to download BOTH the main program and one or more test sets.

ProtAnt
A freeware prototypical text analysis tool (developed in collaboration with Paul Baker of Lancaster University).
TagAnt
A freeware (non-commercial) Part-Of-Speech (POS) tagger built on TreeTagger (developed by Helmut Schmid). Permission to include TreeTagger in TagAnt has been granted on the condition that TagAnt is also bound by the TreeTagger license. This makes the license terms slightly different from those of other AntLab tools. For commercial uses of TagAnt, users must first purchase a commercial license of TreeTagger.

ALC Text Toolkit
A concordance tool for assisting EFL learners in Japan with technical writing. The software is distributed in the textbook "Writing for Science and Engineering" (ALC Press). ALC Text Toolkit was developed by Laurence ANTHONY (Waseda University, Japan) in collaboration with the ALC Press, Tokyo, Japan.
