35 years ago when i was doing my MBBS in Osmania general Hospital there was just one morgue and it could hold only a few bodies so dead bos dies of people without relatives used to get piled up as the cremation was handled by the municipality
each organization blamed the other for the delay
the bodies were rotting and the smell was so bad we used to take a longer route to reach the hospital or if in a hurry cover our noses holding our breath during our walking near the morgue .
I do not know how many Distirct hospitals in various states of india have functioning Morgues with uninterrupted electricity to preserve bodies .
i am sure the MP CM Kamalnath has no stats
Kamal Nath, the state's chief minister and a member of the Congress opposition party, tweeted that "such incidents put humanity to shame and cannot be tolerated."
"Strict action will be taken against those found guilty of negligence," Nath said.
The Top guy ie the chief minister is never guilty of anything !
