Stupidity of ICD_10

 In the  search for specificity the  ICD  10 splits the  diagnosis  so much  to get  DATA which is Granular its utility for  day to day clinical use is lost 

people  are forced to use  diagnosis in patients  which are not confirmed  as a working  diagnosis  but  ICD  -10 by itself  has  no provision for  working diagnosis 

 Insurance companies are adding to the confusion by refusing to pay for exams and procedures based on these diagnosis codes.

so, in the end, it is all going to be  garbage in  and garbage out
