since 2016 I am having problems with google docs connecting and disconnecting to the cloud . this is not an internet connection issue .

I try to add words in an Indian language to the custom used dictionary.

and the docs says it added the word to the dictionary then disconnects spell check add to disctionary greys out and the same added word is marked as an error with a red squiggly line.

and this guy who is marked "as Diamond Product Expert" either gives the same GISA PITA oft repeated useless explanations and possible ways to correct none of which have been working .

after sometime the question is simply locked . may be that is why one should not allow any company to become dominant monopoly.

Google Sheets "Loading" and "Reconnecting" 9 Replies

I have created a series of job sheets that have are edited templates, these are linked to a main sheet that collates all that information, from there that info is passed to 2 other sheets for further analysis and breakdown.

However the main sheet has had periods of time where the data does not flow. New information doesn't come in and no info goes out to the 2 report sheets.

At first this only happened once a week for around an hour but it is now almost always happening constantly.

This is getting extremely frustrating and happens no matter what device ANYONE is looking at these sheets on (so it it not a "clear your cache = solved" problem) .

There are roughly 500 sheets attached to the main sheet using import range to import 29 cells.

Edit: This issue is in no way similar to the Trending Issue. Clearly whoever marked it as such did not read my issue.

I have the same issue since two days.
Clearing Cache and browsing history is not a resolution for this issue.

I am having this issue as well, on Docs. I am disconnected every few minutes (sometimes less than a minute between) and have to force-reload the page to continue working. Clearing cache does not help. Incognito does not help.

I am having the same issue with a Google Sheet that I was pulling data into every hour. I was wondering if I reached some sort of limit? It hasn't worked since May 17, 2019. Every time I try to delete a tab within the sheet to try and resolve any issues with reaching a limit, it just says reconnecting.
