Raised BP is deCned asSBP ≥140 mmHg, or DBP ≥90 mmHg. Diabetes is deCned as fasting plasma glucose ≥7.0 mmol/L, or history of diagnosis with diabetes, or use of insulin or oral hypoglycaemic drugs.
